Organotherapy: What Is Organotherapy?

Organotherapy is a complementary therapy used in homeopathy to rectify diseased organs, glands, and tissues by means of glandular and tissue extracts, diluted and dynamized according to homeopathic principles.

While, homeopathy treats by "Similars", Organotherapy treats by "Identical". An "identical" remedy is administered to treat an "identical" abnormality.

Organotherapy uses organs, glands, and tissues obtained from healthy animals raised for this purpose. It is administered in the low centesimal potency to repair toxin damage.

Organotherapy is based on two fundamental laws: (1) Identical organs and (2) activity by potency.

1. Identical Organs: When a diseased organ is present, an identical healthy organ extract is administered to rectify the organ.

2. Activity by Potency:

A 4-CH potency stimulates sluggish organs, glands, or tissue activity.

A 7 CH potency balances organs, glands, or tissue activity.

A 9-CH potency slows down accelerated organs, glands, or tissue activity.

Take for instance hypothyroidism, a thyroid deficiency caused when the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroxin hormones. In Organotherapy, a 4-CH thyroid hormone extract is used to stimulate and restore thyroid balance.

In the case of hyperthyroidism, a 9-CH thyroid hormone extract is used to slow down the over activity of the thyroid gland.
